My thoughts thus far:

- The Troeg's tastes like a Pale Ale. Not saying it's bad (I like Pale Ales) but it definitely is not like any stout I've had before.

- Of the 2 pumpkin ales, I was surprised to find that I liked the Post Road better than the Dogfish Head. That said, I didn't have them one right after the other, so a retest may be in order ;)

i was pretty stoked to try the new guiness. im not a huge guiness drinker, but theres a bunch of hype behind the new 250 anniversary beer. It was pretty dissapointing, just carbonated guiness. i doin't think i'll ever drink one ever again.

the bell's two hearted and the victory 10 ale were both awsome. both were high alcohol and very full bodied, the type of beers i tend to enjoy.

the troges sunshine pilsner was good. i actually opened one, then started grilling. its great to drink when its nice outside.

i wasn't really feeling the magic hat wacko and the fleur de lehigh, both were a little light for my tastes, and the lehigh really tasted like flowers. the wacko looked great, the beet coloring but fell short on taste for me.

My favorites this month were the Bell's and Victory ales.

The Guinness was good but nothing special. I could not have told it apart from a non-anniversary version.

Count me among the people who really don't care for the Fleur De Lehigh - it was just boring. I don't see any reason someone would drink that over, say, Miller Lite unless they liked the bottle art.

I liked the Troegs but it wasn't the best pilsner I've had. Pretty good but not really case-worthy.

I'm not a big Magic Hat fan but this one is probably my favorite of their beers. Not overly fruity like some of the others.

The fleur de lehigh is definitely six pack worthy tho I am told it can only be bought in the variety pack. Very good floral hues yet not getting old. Many beers like this either tend to be too fruity or overbearing in the floral section.

The two hearted ale was excellent if you like hopping beer. It was not overly hoppy to the point where its bitter and too heavy. The hoppy after taste had a good finish to it.

I didnt get to try the wacko or troeggs as my friend drank it... sharing is caring! but he said they were way better than the pabst he is used to.hahaha

Really liked the Baltic Thunder. Very tasty and seems to get better while you drink it.

Blackbeary Wheat was also tasty and easy to drink.

I must have gotten a bad bottle of Turbo Dog because that was really hard to drink. Though after reading the description, I can see how it would go well with spicy foods and cheeses.

Konig could stay in Germany. Didn't really care for that one either but was pretty much what I expected. Coors with a German label.

Haven't had the sierra nevada stout yet. Hopefully it won't be overly bitter like the other sierra nevada beers I've had but judging from the description, it will be.

In the name of science and research, here is my take on this month so far:

1. Guinness 250th - I felt like this beer tastes exactly like the regular Guinness but with more carbonation. I'm not sure if I was expecting something awesome because its Guinness... but I wasn't impressed at all.

2. Troegs Sunshine Pils - I'm not a big pilsener guy but my take on this beer was that it was about average. Nothing super memorable.

3. Bell's Two Hearted Ale - Holy shit this is good. Hides the 7% very well. Probably one of the better IPA's I've had in a long time. Definitely case worth in my book but it is on the expensive end.

4. PBC Fleur De Lehigh - Besides the fact I can't say the name right I like this beer. Its a very light drinkable brew... the aroma of the beer really adds to the flavor. It does seem like one of those beer that you'll either like it a lot or not care for it at all though.

5. Victory Ten Years Alt - I liked this beer... it was a bit heavy though. I feel like this one also hides its alcohol content pretty well. When its poured it has a really nice color to it and a hoppy aroma. I could only drink one or two at the most though before switching to something a little less filling.

6. Magic Hat Wacko - didn't get to try this one yet but I've heard good things.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Baltic, a little too dark for me.

Big BIG fan of the Blackberry Wheat and the Turbo Dog, really good
beers, nice full taste but not so overpowering.

The Nevada Stout and 60 Min IPA weren't bad, but didn't really have a great after taste. Nice start to it, but lost its power as the bottle was
drained.

The Dead Guy Ale was killer. They make a similar doppelbock called Double Dead Guy that is absolutely amazing. It's frighteningly smooth for 9%. I don't think Rogue makes any bad brews.

I'd like to put in a vote for something by Stone Brewing Co for the next round.

Re: Blueberry Wheat --

Thought this was one of the better "fruit" wheats I've had. Blueberry in particular tends to be awful but this was decent.

It doesn't have the same bite as a lot of other wheats, so maybe the fact that it doesn't taste like a typical wheat made the fruit smoother.

Re: Konig --

As lighter beers go, I liked this one a lot. Very drinkable. May have to get a case of this for summer cookouts.

Re: Sierra Stout --

Not my favorite stout. I prefer less hoppy stouts (like Young's Double Chocolate and the Samuel Smith Oatmeal). Not bad but not for me.
